Job summary

U.S. Bank Global Fund Services is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to lead a team of accountants and support staff. You will oversee accurate processing of transactions, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and accounting controls.

You will train, motivate, assign work, and participate in budgeting, forecasts, and variance analyses while ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP. Strong Excel skills and CPA experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping principles, theories, and controls.
• Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze and interpret data.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of applicable financial laws, regulations and reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and ability to pick up new systems.
• CPA and management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and records of mutual funds, including end-of-day net asset value calculations.
• Perform daily general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and portfolio processing tasks.
• Collaborate with administrators, transfer agents and custodians on compliance, audits and financial reporting.
