Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to oversee accounting, financial reporting, and day-to-day operations for a portfolio of investment funds in a fast‑paced financial services environment. You will lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closes, review NAV calculations and reconciliations, and manage relationships with external auditors and third‑party fund administrators.

Qualifications

5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience in financial services.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and partnership/investment accounting.
Experience with fund accounting platforms (Investran, Allvue, etc.).

Responsibilities

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes for multiple funds.
Review NAV calculations, reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
Oversee capital calls, distributions, management fees, and investor allocations.
Review partnership and fund-level accounting for accurate income/expenses allocations.
Prepare investor reporting and fund reporting packages.
Coordinate annual audits and tax reporting with external auditors.
Mentor junior staff and maintain internal controls while prioritizing deadlines.
