Job summary

Stone Coast Fund Services Ltd. is seeking a Fund Accountant to record and reconcile activity, calculate NAV, and allocate fees for hedge fund clients. The role requires interaction with fund managers and service providers, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in hedge fund accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience with Advent Geneva World Investor. Remote work options are available in allowed states.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of fund accounting experience for hedge funds.
• Familiarity with hedge fund investments is a plus.
• Experience with Advent Geneva World Investor is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills is essential.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile all portfolio and fund activity for assigned clients.
• Calculate the fund’s NAV adhering to industry standards and internal procedures.
• Allocate profit and loss to investors including the calculation of management and performance fees.
• Process and record fund expense payments and ensure cash wire requests are completed accurately and timely.
• Generate and deliver fund and investor reports to fund managers and investors.
• Prepare materials for board meetings, financial statements and regulatory requests.
• Communicate with internal and external entities to ensure best-in-class service levels.
• Review NAV and investor statements for completeness and accuracy.
• Mentor, train, and support fund accountants.
• Ensure fund accounting tasks are completed accurately and timely.
