Job summary

Stone Coast Fund Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Fund Accountant to join our team. The role focuses on recording and reconciling portfolio activity, calculating NAVs, and preparing investor statements for a hedge fund client base.

The position supports a remote-friendly environment with attention to internal controls and accurate financial reporting. We value candidates with 3+ years of hedge fund fund accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Advent Geneva World

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fund accounting experience for hedge funds.
• Proficiency with Advent Geneva World Investor is a plus.
• Experience with internal control procedures and financial reporting is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables) are essential.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile all portfolio and fund activity for assigned clients.
• Calculate the fund’s NAV adhering to industry standards and internal procedures.
• Allocate profit and loss to investors including calculation of management and performance fees.
• Process and record fund expense payments and ensure cash wire requests are completed accurately and timely.
• Generate and deliver fund and investor reports to fund managers and investors of assigned clients.
• Prepare and deliver supporting materials for board meetings, financial statements and audits.
• Communicate with internal and external entities to ensure best in class service levels; build cooperative relationships.
• Review NAV, investor statements and other work for completeness and accuracy.
