Job summary

Stone Coast Fund Services is seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our remote team. You will record and reconcile portfolio activity, calculate NAV, allocate fees, and prepare investor reports for hedge fund clients.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in hedge fund accounting, strong Excel, and Advent Geneva World Investor experience, plus a four-year degree in accounting or finance. We offer flexible scheduling, remote work options, competitive pay, and opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hedge fund accounting experience
• Experience with portfolio and investor accounting systems
• Experience with internal control procedures and risk management
• Advanced MS Office/Excel skills required
• Ability to learn complex concepts quickly

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile portfolio and fund activity for assigned clients
• Calculate fund NAV per industry standards and internal procedures
• Allocate profit and loss to investors including management and performance fees
• Process and record fund expenses; ensure timely wire requests
• Generate and deliver fund and investor reports to managers and investors
• Prepare materials for board meetings, financial statements and audits
• Coordinate with internal/external entities to maintain service levels
• Review NAV and investor statements for accuracy against standards
• Mentor and train fund accountants
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
