Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst for a fully remote role supporting the Department of State CAEIO program. The candidate will monitor security alerts, conduct threat hunting, and coordinate with internal teams to remediate incidents on global networks.

Requirements include a US citizenship and active SECRET clearance, 5+ years in federal cybersecurity, and Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel experience. Occasional on-site meetings may be required in the DMV area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of cybersecurity/related experience.
• U.S. citizenship with active SECRET clearance required.
• 5+ years of federal cybersecurity/SOC experience with high-availability systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts, and notify responders per incident response plan.
• Analyze network traffic to identify anomalies and threats.
• Develop and document SOC processes, SOPs, and configurations.
