Job summary

Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a Litigation Docket Specialist to support our litigation practice from a fully remote role with reasonable access to our Seattle, Portland, San Francisco or Los Angeles offices. In this role you will identify, calculate and calendar court deadlines, review incoming documents, keep docket entries up to date, and ensure accuracy under varying court rules.

You will work closely with case teams and docketing staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of docketing experience in a law firm environment.
• Bachelor's Degree and knowledge of civil procedure.
• Experience with docketing software and court rules.

Responsibilities

• Review docketing requests and calculate critical dates accurately.
• Update docket entries and perform quality control.
• Research court rules to supplement automated calculations.
• Communicate with case teams to ensure accurate docket entries.
• Understand state and federal court rules and deadline calculations.
• Assist with special projects to meet position requirements.
