Job summary

Navigate Search is seeking a hands-on Controller to oversee internal financial operations and client accounting across multiple entities. This remote role will work closely with senior leadership to improve financial reporting, controls, forecasting, and operational processes.

You will drive budgeting, cash-flow planning, debt covenant management, and month-end close while developing scalable controls and mentoring the finance team.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of progressive controllership, FP&A, or senior accounting experience.
• Experience with both internal financial operations and client accounting.
• Hands-on experience managing credit facilities, covenants, and lender relationships.
• Strong cash-flow forecasting experience, liquidity planning, and proactive covenant issue identification.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and cash-planning skills.
• Experience overseeing accounting across multiple entities or business units.
• Knowledge of internal controls, AP/AR, vendor management, and intercompany accounting.
• Professional services experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, QuickBooks Online, and related financial systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop members of the finance and accounting team.

• Knowledge of internal controls, AP/AR, vendor management, and intercompany accounting.
• Professional services experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, QuickBooks Online, and related financial systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Base salary: $150,000-$180,000, depending on experience.
