Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation from inception to resolution.

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and memos.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, and court appearances.

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a well-established legal practice seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its growing team.

This opportunity offers the flexibility of working 100% remotely from anywhere in California, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to handle sophisticated commercial disputes and complex business litigation matters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, excellent legal research and writing skills, and the ability to independently manage cases while developing effective strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Represent businesses, corporations, and other clients in complex commercial and business disputes.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with clients' business objectives.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in court proceedings.
• Handle all phases of discovery, including document review, interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues to support litigation strategies.
• Evaluate claims, assess potential exposure, and advise clients on litigation risks and resolution strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Manage case deadlines, court filings, and litigation activities while ensuring compliance with applicable procedural requirements.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing with the California State Bar.
• Substantial experience handling commercial litigation and business disputes.
• Strong knowledge of California civil litigation procedures and applicable laws.
• Experience independently managing cases throughout all phases of litigation.
• Strong background in legal research, drafting motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Experience handling depositions, discovery, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $200,000 – $350,000 Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
