Job summary

EY is hiring a Manager in Application Design and Development to lead delivery of software platforms across mobile, web, and tablet UI. You will guide teams, engage clients, and shape high-quality solutions through agile methods and cloud-aware architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the effective management and delivery of processes, solutions, and projects with focus on quality and risk.
• Engage with external clients, participate in working sessions, and lead workstreams from planning through execution and closure.
• Travel may be required as needed by external clients.
• Develop solutions to complex problems and establish procedures that impact your work area.
• Provide direction and feedback to team members to ensure successful task completion.
