Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Application Design and Development to lead UI design across mobile, web, and tablet platforms, guiding analytics and platform solutions. You will engage with clients, define requirements, and drive development with a strong focus on quality and risk management.

The role demands deep expertise in Angular/JS, APIs, and cloud/distributed systems, with a hybrid client-facing model and a strong emphasis on collaboration and leadership within diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4‑year).
• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication/authorization using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure AD (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience with Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with TDD / unit testing.
• Experience with complex codebases and frontend performance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define user requirements and develop UI across mobile, web, and tablets.
• Lead delivery of processes, solutions, and projects with focus on quality and risk management.
• Engage with external clients and drive workstreams from planning through execution and closure.
