Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Application Design and Development to lead delivery of UI/UX across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will identify user requirements, code, and create specifications aligning with business needs. Expect client interaction, guiding teams, and travel as needed.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years with Angular/JS frameworks, strong API design skills, and experience with AI/ML, cloud, and distributed systems. EY offers a hybrid model and a robust total rewards package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the effective management and delivery of processes, solutions, and projects.
• Engage regularly with external clients and lead workstreams from planning through closure.
• Develop UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms and translate requirements into design and code.
