Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Application Design and Development to lead design, delivery, and client-facing work across mission-critical platforms. You will guide teams through planning, execution, and closure with a focus on quality, risk, and scalable architectures.

The role requires strong UI/UX, API design, and cloud/distributed systems experience, plus leadership in agile environments. EY supports a hybrid work model across the US with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 4 - 6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend best practices around page performance.

• Exercise judgment in selecting methods and evaluation criteria.
• Provide direction and feedback to team members for task completion.
