Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist/Special Education teaching license.
• Experience as Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher.
• Experience writing and managing IEPs.
• Experience providing SDI minutes and monitoring student progress.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 16 students.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and maintain compliant IEPs.
• Provide required SDI minutes based on IEPs.
• Manage a special education caseload of up to 16 students.
• Monitor student progress and use data to guide instruction.
• Provide individualized academic and behavioral support.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, admins, families, and service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary discussions.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with state/federal requirements.
• Support an inclusive learning environment for grades 3 and 4.
