Job summary

Healogics is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to support the Wound Care Center. You will assist the RN/LPN in patient preparation, data collection, and wound care tasks, contributing to high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities include intake/discharge support, vitals collection, wound photography and measurements, and assisting in Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy as needed after training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification maintained throughout employment.
• 6+ months experience in an acute hospital, rehab hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Strong organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of patient services before, during and after visits with RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist in wound care and dressing as delegated by the RN.
• Assist in vein clinic after HBO training completion.
• Assist during intake/discharge: collect, record and report vitals, temperature, pulse, respiration, BP and glucose readings.
• Record care provided and patient responses to treatment.
• Complete unit tasks: clean exam areas, clean HBO gurneys and chambers, process sterile instruments.
• Perform HBO therapy-related duties as needed after HBO training.
• Perform other duties as required.
