Job summary

Healogics, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for our Corning, NY wound care center. You will support RN/LPN teams, assist with exams, collect vital signs, and help ensure a clean, safe patient environment.

The role requires a CNA certification, a High School diploma or GED, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Prior acute care experience is preferred, with mandatory adherence to policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current CNA certification must be maintained throughout employment.
• Six months or more experience in an acute hospital or skilled nursing setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient services before, during, and after visits with RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and orthosis/prosthesis as delegated.
• Dress wounds and assist in vein clinic as trained.
• Assist with intake/discharge tasks: record vitals, BP, TPR, glucose readings.
• Perform routine unit tasks: cleaning exam areas, equipment, and instrument processing.
• Support HBO therapy duties after completing Healogics training.
• Maintain clear documentation of care and observations.
