Job description

Full-time Work Control Coordinator

Berkeley Preparatory School is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented full-time Work Control Coordinator to support daily Facilities operations. This role serves as the central point of contact for all maintenance and service requests, ensuring work is efficiently coordinated from intake through completion.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, can problem solve in real-time, and able to manage multiple priorities while providing excellent customer service to faculty, staff, and vendors. They will be eager to learn, display a growth mindset, and consistently display a positive approach.

Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming Facilities requests via phone, email, walk-ins, and CMMS system
  • Review, prioritize, and dispatch work orders to technicians and vendors
  • Coordinate short-term rental operations, lease administration, and compliance with landlord-tenant laws and rental regulations, ensuring accurate records and effective management of maintenance, inspections, and vendor services.
  • Ensure requests are complete, accurate, and properly documented
  • Monitor work progress and follow up on outstanding or delayed items
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding status, timelines, and expectations
  • Coordinate service response and scheduling in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting and data tracking
  • Support daily operations, including inventory, vendor coordination, and administrative tasks

Preferred
  • 2–4 years of administrative experience

  • Familiarity with CMMS or work order systems
  • Property management experience, preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish Preferred)
Compensation and Benefits

The appointment will begin July 2026 and is a full-time position with full benefits. The compensation package will be very competitive nationally and commensurate with experience, degree attainment, and the national independent school and college markets.
