Family Pet Clinic in Southampton, PA is seeking a skilled Veterinary Receptionist to be the primary contact for clients and their pets. You will balance administrative precision with warmth, handling high-volume front desk tasks in a clinical setting.

The role offers full-time hours, weekday schedule with rotating Saturdays, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k). Experience with veterinary software is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary receptionist.
• Experience with veterinary practice management software.
• Knowledge of veterinary terms and vaccination protocols.
• Proficient in scheduling, phone management and payments.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to communicate compassionately in emotional situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and check in patients, verify records and appointments.
• Answer multi-line phone system and respond to scheduling inquiries.
• Process payments, post charges and arrange follow-up visits.
• Communicate medical information accurately and compassionately.
• Maintain EMR and ensure timely data entry in the PMS.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and staff to maintain patient flow.
• Keep reception area clean and welcoming.
