Job summary

Turfway Park LLC is seeking a Bartender for a full-time role at Newport Racing & Gaming in Newport, KY. The bartender provides friendly service, takes and delivers orders quickly, and ensures accuracy with a strong focus on customer experience.

Responsibilities include ringing in orders at the bar, handling payments, serving drinks with measured pours, and maintaining a clean work area. Prior bar back experience and relevant certifications are preferred; licensing may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Some prior bar back experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain Racing License.

Responsibilities

• Inform guests of daily specials.
• Ring in orders and apply upcharges.
• Collect payments and provide receipts.
• Verify guest name on card with ID during payment.
• Prepare drinks using recipes and measure pours with a jigger.
• Clean the bar and close out with the manager on duty.
• Complete end-of-shift duties as assigned.
