Title: Bartender
Job Summary
An Ellis Park Bartender is an integral part of the team responsible for taking food and drink orders from guests, mixing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks in a friendly and courteous manner, while ensuring guests are not overserved so that everyone can have a fun and safe gaming experience.

Responsibilities
- Take beverage and food orders from patrons in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, including wine and bottled/draft beer.
- Promote brands/products to increase sales, including promotional drinks and drink specials.
- Maintain a cash drawer and complete transactions using a point‑of‑sale system.
- Keep the bar/workstation clean and attractive: arrange bottles and glasses, sweep, wipe surfaces, remove trash, mop.
- Restock alcoholic/non‑alcoholic beverages, cut/slice and replenish garnishes, refill ice wells, replace kegs, refill paper products, glassware, and condiments.
- Assist with inventory and inventory control.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Relevant work experience with strong knowledge and skill in mixing a variety of alcoholic beverages.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
