Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Springfield, TN, is seeking experienced Medical Receptionists to greet patients, activate files and support staff. The role supports the front desk and clinical teams in a walk-in urgent care setting.

Responsibilities include answering phones, checking in/out patients, collecting insurance information, processing payments, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while following health procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting is preferred
• Knowledge of basic computer software and the ability to learn electronic medical records
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors by greeting them in person and guiding them through the registration process
• Answer multi-line phones and manage documentation
• Check in and discharge patients and assist clinical staff
• Collect insurance information, verify demographics, process payments, and post balances
