Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of ASC experience.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques.
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Room Preparation: set up OR with instruments and supplies, ensure sterility.
• Surgical Assistance: assist surgeons and maintain sterile field during procedures.
• Sterile Technique: follow aseptic practices and safety protocols.
• Inventory Management: track instruments and restock as needed.
• Operating Room Cleaning: clean and disinfect between cases.
• Biohazardous Waste: proper handling and disposal of waste.
• Equipment Care: inspect and report damaged instruments.
• Team Collaboration: coordinate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers.
• Additional Duties: support daily operations of the surgical center.
