Job summary

ALDI USA in Bristol, CT is hiring a Store Associate to help with merchandising, stocking, cashiering and maintaining store cleanliness. You’ll work closely with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and a great shopping experience.

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour with annual increases to $20.50, $21.00 and beyond; full-time schedules typically 30+ hours per week. Benefits and opportunities vary by state and are designed to reward dedication and reliability.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment like cash registers and card scanners.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process customer purchases and informs management of scanning concerns.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly while following merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders and ensure timely delivery to customers’ vehicles from the staging area.
