Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a store associate to support merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleanings to keep the store at its best. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and an efficient shopping experience.

The role offers full-time hours, with starting wage of $20.50 per hour and scheduled wage increases over the first years of employment to $21.00, $21.50, and $22.50. Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

• Must provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate POS system and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to interpret ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Inform store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Accurately scan and process customer purchases using POS; note scanning concerns.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures and support efficient checkout.
