Job summary

ALDI USA is looking for a store associate to help merchandise and stock products, cashier, and maintain store cleanliness. You will work with the ALDI team to deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.

The role requires You to handle POS transactions, assist with curbside pickups, and follow ALDI policies while maintaining safety and order in the store.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers and handheld devices.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process purchases and informs management of scanning concerns or errors.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes as required to ensure an efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and ensures timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists store management in achieving operational efficiency goals.
• Assists store management in achieving total loss goals.
• Complies with all company policies and processes.
• Supports a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
