Stern Therapy Consultants is recruiting an Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position at Autumn Lake at Birch Manor in Sykesville, MD. The role focuses on addressing communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs within an interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland license as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized plans of care based on clinical findings and resident goals.
• Provide skilled treatment for communication, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Track resident progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
• Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation.
• Coordinate care with nursing and other rehabilitation disciplines.
