Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized plans of care based on resident needs and goals.
• Provide skilled treatment for communication, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Track progress and modify treatment approaches when appropriate.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication and safe swallowing strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Coordinate care with nursing and other rehabilitation professionals.
