Millennium Health in Dalton, GA is seeking a Full-Time Specimen Collector. This role involves collecting urine and oral fluid specimens, processing and packaging for shipping, and serving as the liaison between clinics and the laboratory. Schedule: Mon-Thu 8:30am-4pm, Fri 8:30am-12pm.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical care, plus 2+ years of customer service. Driving between facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of specimen collection experience or 1+ year in the medical field.
• 2+ years of customer service preferred.
• Ability to navigate a smartphone and computer.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• HIPAA/HiTrust and confidentiality compliance knowledge.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collect urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as liaison between practice and laboratory.
• Record patient and physician information.
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information.
• Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite.
• Observe collection procedures for Millennium Health specimens.
• Driving between facilities may be required.
