Compass Group USA on Moscow campus is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to assist the Executive Chef and lead kitchen staff. This role supports food preparation, culinary operations, and service during peak hours at 1080 W 6th Street, with open availability including weekends.

Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $27.00 per hour. Benefits include training opportunities, Instapay, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time associates.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience is highly preferred, but willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and reviews.
• Stores food in designated areas following all sanitation procedures.
• Maintains proper food handling, presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils; cleans workstation and displays areas.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Explains daily menu items to staff and customers accurately.
• Keeps up with peak production and service hours.
• Monitors inventory and deliveries; tracks production, consumption and waste.
