Job summary

Spring Arbor of Cary is hiring a friendly, dependable Server to join our dining team. You will help create a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents, with training provided if you lack serving experience. Flexible part-time hours are available and a positive attitude goes a long way.

The primary responsibility is attending to residents and guests during dining in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Be attentive to detail, flexible/adaptable, safety aware, and a team player.
• Criminal background screening must be positive.
• Workplace is drug-free; comply with policy.
• Food serving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely, professional manner.
• Serve food efficiently and professionally.
• Clear tables and sanitize after each meal period.
• Maintain a clean dining room and work areas.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to residents’ apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.

Areas of Responsibility

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
• Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Must havepositive Criminal Background Screening.
