Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Driver in Philadelphia, PA. You will patrol logistics and distribution areas, support access control, and maintain a visible security presence while delivering strong customer service.

The role requires at least 2 years in security, a valid driver’s license, and a background check. The position offers daytime shifts with pay at $21.00 per hour and opportunities for growth within a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly and report as required.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter.
• Monitor vehicle, visitor, and delivery activity; verify credentials and direct authorized personnel as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions and communicate with site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
