Qualifications

• Valid driver's license in accordance with AU policy
• Experience with access control systems and badge management
• Experience with alarm panel systems and emergency response procedures
• Proficiency in using computers or tablets for job tasks
• Current CPR certification
• Background in customer service

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and campus policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving communication to campus personnel or responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures per site policies.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions with clear reports.
