Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a full-time Sign Language Interpreter to provide ASL interpretation in a Portsmouth, VA area school. This contract role starts as soon as possible and runs through June 11, 2027, offering a rewarding opportunity to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.

The ideal candidate will hold ASL proficiency, a VQAS Level 2+ (or higher) or an EIPA score of 3.5+ and demonstrate collaborative communication with teachers, staff, and students in a K-12 setting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) essential.
• Valid VQAS Level 2+ or EIPA score 3.5+ required.
• Experience in K-12 educational environments preferred.

Responsibilities
