Job summary

Crocker Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation in Westlake, OH is seeking Respiratory Therapists to join our staff. This full-time, on-site role offers a $7500 sign-on bonus and a supportive management team.

You will set up and operate ventilators and perform gas administration, monitor patient responses, and maintain therapy documentation while providing patient care in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist with active license.
• Experience operating ventilators and airway devices.
• Ability to monitor patient responses and document therapies.

Responsibilities

Description

Crocker Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation, a newly acquired skilled nursing facility in Westlake, OH, is seeking Respiratory Therapists to join our staff!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned.

• Sets up and operates devices such as mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas administration apparatus, environmental control systems, and aerosol generators.
• Operates equipment to ensure specified parameters of treatment such as volume, gas concentration, humidity, and temperature, and to administer medicinal gases and aerosol drugs to patients under orders of Physicians.
• Monitors patient’s physiological responses to therapy through patient vital signs.
• Assists patients in performing breathing exercises.
• Maintains patient’s chart that contain pertinent identification and therapy information.
• Inspects and tests respiratory therapy equipment to ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
• Demonstrates respiratory care procedures to trainees and other health care personnel.
