Job summary

Garden Springs Healthcare in Fremont, OH, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist/Respiratory Technician to deliver respiratory care in a fast-paced skilled nursing facility. You will work with nurses and physicians to manage oxygen therapy, ventilator support, and CPAP/BiPAP, while documenting in EMR/EHR systems.

This full-time, in-person role offers a 12-hour shift and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT/CRT) license or Respiratory Technician certification (state requirements apply).
• Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, post-acute care, nursing home, or SNF setting preferred.
• Knowledge of pulmonary care, oxygen management, and respiratory equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and breathing treatments to residents.
• Monitor oxygen therapy, pulse oximetry, and respiratory status.
• Assist with trach care, nebulizer treatments, CPAP/BiPAP management, and ventilator support as needed.
• Work closely with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and changes in condition.
• Educate residents and families on respiratory care plans.
