Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN license required) to provide quality geriatric care in our Southport facility. The role involves supervising staff, assisting physicians, administering medications, and ensuring infection control and documentation are up to standard.

We are looking for candidates with NC nursing licensure, CPR certification, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing and renewal proof every other year.
• CPR certification renewed annually.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
• Ability to supervise nursing assistants ensuring tasks are completed on time.
• Dependable, flexible, cooperative with staff, patients, families, and doctors with patience and tact.
• Ability to make sound nursing decisions; errors can have serious patient impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care following physician orders and facility policies.
• Administer medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV) as ordered.
• Lead, guide and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
• Assist physicians with rounds and examinations.
• Care for patients during rounds and treatments as needed.
• Perform shift treatments and maintain infection control practices.
• Record assessments, schedules, and documentation accurately.
