Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services in Southport, NC is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Liberty Health Southport. The role supports nursing services under a Registered Nurse and provides care to geriatric patients.

The successful candidate will hold a current NC LPN license, be CPR certified, and participate in in-service training while covering shifts as charge nurse when needed. This is a full-time opportunity with a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid NC Board of Nursing license and renewal every other year.
• Willing to serve as charge nurse and provide coverage during emergencies.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care to geriatric patients.
• CPR certified yearly.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing services for unit, under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegate duties to nursing staff and monitor performance under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Observe patients for signs of adverse changes in physical or mental condition.
• Notify attending physician of emergencies and implement physician orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
