Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality geriatric care in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. The RN will supervise nursing staff, follow physicians' orders, and ensure compliance with state regulations while promoting safety and infection control throughout the facility.

Recent NC nursing license required; CPR certification; willingness to participate in ongoing training and share expertise with the team

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse diploma from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing; renewal every other year.
• Provide quality nursing care with a focus on geriatric patients.
• CPR certification renewed yearly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality nursing care by following physician orders, state and federal regulations, and facility policies.
• Administer all medications as ordered by MD and per facility policies.
• Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
• Assist physicians with rounds as needed.
• Drape, stay with, and care for patients during rounds, examinations, and treatments as necessary.
• Perform treatments as scheduled and maintain infection control measures.
• Adhere to cleanliness standards and Universal Precautions.
• Assist with research related to nursing care quality.
• Assist with records, orders, and assessments of new admissions and ensure timely annual physicals.
