Flowerama is seeking hardworking, upbeat, and dependable individuals for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Strong telephone skills and ability to establish rapport with customers.
• Familiarity with florist business helpful but not mandatory.
• Floral Design experience helpful but not mandatory.
• Typing ability (30 WPM).
• Point of Sales experience is a plus.
• Strong communications and strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication ability.
• Ability to lift 40lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours daily, and up to 10 hours seasonally.
• Commitment to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store and over the phone.
• Provide excellent customer service and help customers find products.
• Support floral design and product arrangement as needed.
• Operate POS system and handle sales transactions.
• Work as part of a team to serve customers efficiently.
• Assist with stocking, merchandising and store cleanup as required.

Employees are also expected to work extended hours during Valentine's Day and Mother's Day weeks, including Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.
