Flowerama is seeking hardworking, upbeat and dependable individuals for day, evening and weekend shifts at our florist and gift store. Ideal candidates have strong customer service and/or retail experience. Pay is based on experience, and we promote from within as much as possible.

Flexible schedules are needed; hours extend during busy holiday periods. Requirements include prior retail experience, excellent customer service, strong phone skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Strong telephone skills and ability to establish rapport with customers.
• Familiarity with florist business helpful but not mandatory.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Previous retail sales experience.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Strong telephone skills and ability to establish rapport with customers.
• Familiarity with florist business helpful but not mandatory.

• Ability to work as part of a team while completing tasks in a timely manner
• Typing Ability (30 WPM)
• Point of Sales experience is a plus
• Strong communications and strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication ability
• Ability to lift 40lbs unassisted
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours daily, and up to 10 hours seasonally
• Commitment to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced creative environment. We are open Monday - Friday 7am-7pm, Saturday 8am-7pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm. Please note that during busy holiday times, hour of operation will be extended to meet the needs of our customers. Employees are also expected to work extended hours during Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day weeks, including Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.
