Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a store associate to support merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and store cleanliness. You will work with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a smooth shopping experience.

The role is full-time with an average of 30+ hours per week, starting wage of $20.00 per hour, and scheduled wage increases over the first five years. Full-time benefits and opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service is required.
• Ability to operate POS and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to follow store policies and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication is necessary.
• Basic arithmetic and counting skills are expected.
• Must be able to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient service to customers and handle transactions accurately.
• Operate cash register and POS system, and resolve scanning issues with management as needed.
• Stock shelves and set up merchandised displays per planograms.
• Assist with curbside pickup orders and timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, following company policies.
• Support management in achieving loss prevention and inventory control goals.
