ALDI USA is seeking a Store Associate to support merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store in top condition. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and a smooth checkout experience.

The role offers full-time status with an average of 30+ hours per week and starting wage of $19.50 per hour. Wage increases are scheduled in years 2–5, with growth reflecting performance and tenure.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate store equipment including cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, etc.
• Interpret and apply ALDI policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Work independently or with others to complete tasks.
• Organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses POS system to scan and process purchases and reports scanning issues.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Opens additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly per merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Supports management in efficiency and loss-prevention goals.
• Follows company policies and processes.
• Maintains a safe work environment by addressing hazards and maintaining equipment.
• Adheres to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards.
