Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring a Store Associate in the United States. You will merchandise, stock, cashier, and clean to keep the store looking its best, while enhancing the customer shopping experience through teamwork and exemplary service.

This is a full-time role with 30+ hours per week. Starting wage is $18.00 per hour with wage increases to $18.50 after Year 2, $19.00 in Year 3 and Year 4, and $20.00 in Year 5.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers and scanners.
• Ability to interpret ALDI policies and procedures.
• Clear verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and stock products according to planograms.
• Operate the POS system to scan and process purchases.
• Assist customers and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain store cleanliness and curbside pickup areas.
• Follow cash handling policies and checkout procedures.
• Open additional lanes as needed for efficient checkout.
• Support management in achieving loss prevention and safety goals.
• Adhere to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
