Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring a Store Associate to support merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and store cleanliness. You will work with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain store standards.

The role is full-time with an average of 30+ hours per week and starts at $19.50 per hour, with scheduled increases in Years 2–5. Benefits are available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Ability to meet availability requirements.
• Minimum age 18 years; HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses POS system to scan and process purchases and reports issues to management.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Opens additional check lanes to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following merchandising plans to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and ensures timely delivery to customers.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists management in achieving operational efficiency and loss reduction goals.
• Complies with company policies and maintains a safe working environment.
