Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC is seeking a dedicated Restorative Aide for our Eugene facility. You will assist residents in ROM, mobility, and restorative activities under supervision, documenting progress and adapting care per plan.

Strong communication, empathy, and time management are essential to support residents’ independence. Responsibilities include recording outcomes, assisting with transfers, and coordinating with nurses and therapists to implement individualized plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed CNA in the state is required.
• Minimum of 1 year CNA experience; restorative aide experience preferred.
• Clear and empathetic communication with residents and staff is essential.
• Ability to manage time, priorities, and maintain organized work areas.
• CPR/First Aid certification must be active during employment.
• Experience with electronic medical records documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ROM, strengthening exercises, and mobility as prescribed.
• Observe, document, and report residents' progress to the healthcare team.
• Provide routine restorative services such as positioning and transfers per care plan.
• Explain recovery processes and provide home exercise information to residents and families.
• Prepare and clean therapy equipment; maintain safe treatment areas and supplies.
• Encourage participation and independence in daily activities; support residents emotionally.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other professionals to implement care plans.
