Job summary

Avamere Riverpark of Eugene is seeking a Restorative Aide to support residents with mobility, positioning, and daily activities. The role requires a licensed CNA in Oregon with at least one year of experience; CPR/First Aid certification is also preferred.

You will work with nurses and therapists to implement personalized care plans and help residents stay engaged in restorative programs. The position is part-time and located at 425 Alexander Loop, Eugene, OR 97401, with a schedule that varies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Licensed CNA in the state of Oregon.
• Minimum of one year CNA experience; preferred Restorative Aide experience.
• Clear and empathetic communication with residents and healthcare professionals.
• Must maintain CPR/First Aid certification during employment.
• Experience with EMR documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with range of motion, strengthening exercises, and mobility as prescribed by therapists.
• Record and report residents' progress; document care on restorative flow sheets.
• Provide routine restorative care such as positioning, transfers, and daily activities per care plan.
• Explain recovery process and home exercises; support residents and families.
• Prepare and clean therapy equipment; ensure safety of treatment areas and maintain supplies.
• Encourage participation in daily tasks; promote independence and engagement.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and others to implement individualized care plans.
