Job summary

Oxnardhc is seeking a Restorative Aide to support residents under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services. The role focuses on performing restorative nursing measures and documenting progress per physician orders.

Ideal candidates hold a CNA certification, are fluent in English, and have prior skilled nursing facility experience. Attendance at in-service classes is expected, with data recorded on RNA sheets and weekly progress notes.

Qualifications

• Must have Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Evidence of job stability in prior roles.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Ability to take supervision.
• Possess good health.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Currently enrolled in Restorative Aide class or have a Restorative Aide Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform restorative nursing measures per physician’s order.
• Report observations and resident responses; document daily RN notes.
• Follow nursing terminology in documentation and weekly progress notes.
• Communicate changes to Charge Nurse, DON, or Physical Therapist.
• Participate in Plan of Care conference and required in-services.
