Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring immediately for a full-time Prep Cook at Emory University, 569 Asbury Circle, Atlanta, GA 30322. You will prepare food and serve customers in accordance with applicable standards, while following daily production schedules.

Previous culinary or prep cooking experience is preferred, but we are willing to train. This role offers perks such as a free shift meal and free parking or MARTA card.

Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following quantities and recipes.
• Completes daily production worksheets and waste logs; tastes meals for quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per procedures; stores, labels and dates items.
• Completes required documentation, logs and reports.
• Maintains HACCP guidelines for quality and safety of food supply.
• Takes orders and prepares items with short prep times; serves customers.
• Uses recipes and production standards to ensure proper portions and temperatures.
