Job summary

SSP America, operating multiple restaurants at Boston Logan Airport, is seeking a Prep Cook to receive orders and prepare dishes while keeping the kitchen organized for peak service. You will support a team and help deliver in-house dining experiences with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• One year minimum experience working in food service environment.
• Verbal and written communication is essential.
• Basic mathematical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station on a daily basis.
• Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
• Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storage of all perishables daily to ensure product quality.
• Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required.
• Take responsibility for quality of products served.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard products per supervisor instructions.
