Job summary

Discovery Isle Preschool is seeking a full-time Pre-K Closing Teacher to inspire curiosity and a love of learning in every child. You will create engaging classrooms, design hands-on lessons, and foster strong relationships with families to support social, emotional, and academic growth.

The role requires availability from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and a nurturing personality with patience and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Completed 12 Core ECE Units.
• Have a valid Child Development Associate (CDA) in Preschool.
• 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Create an engaging classroom where children can explore, question, and discover.
• Design hands-on lessons that prepare students for kindergarten and beyond.
• Foster strong relationships with families through communication and collaboration.
• Support each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Must be available to work 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
